Practice Cancelation –

Due to a scheduling conflict the Saturday Junior’s Practice scheduled for Londonderry from 2:45 to 4:45 has been canceled for the next two Saturdays – (May 8 and May 13). We apologize for this and to help off-set the loss of the practice time we encourage and welcome those Juniors swimmers who are interested to join us on Sundays for either the Age Group practice (10:00 – 11:30) or the Senior practice (7:00 – 9:30) – if you have questions as to which practice would be more appropriate for your swimmer, please email either Coach Andy oneofa11@yahoo.com or Coach Paul pbennett@wpi.edu

New Coach –

Please join us in welcoming a new Coach to our Staff. Jennifer McGlauflin will be joining us this summer. Jennifer hails from Lowell MA, where she was a four year letter winner at LHS, a School Record Holder and a 4 time YMCA Nationals Qualifier and Participant as well as a 2 time YMCA All-American with the Andover-North Andover YMCA. Jennifer went on to swim and letter all four years at the University of Rhode Island where she received her degree in Speech Pathology. Jennifer has served as the Head Coach of the Haverhill Country Club Swimming team for the last three summers and as an assistant at the Westford Swim and Tennis Club the previous summer. Jennifer’s primary responsibility will be in working with the Junior Group.

Jenny Thompson Pool –

As many of you may have heard, the Jenny Thompson Pool in Dover New Hampshire is in danger of closing. Due to budget cuts the city of Dover is currently considering the elimination of the city tax that helps to fund the operation of the pool. The closure of the Jenny Thompson Pool would be a great loss, not only for the State of New Hampshire, but for all of New England Swimming. Seacoast Swimming Association has organized a swimmer march to demonstrate the support for the facility on May 26th. More information will follow.

- July 16-18 at Dover, NH – SSA (Trials/Finals Invitational)

- August 3rd Dual meet with Bedford
